Illustrated by Little Hands is a bespoke ceramic commission preserving children’s drawings on handmade forms, transforming fleeting moments of childhood into lasting heirlooms.
Each piece is individually crafted in my studio and guided by a considered approval process, ensuring the final work remains faithful to the spirit, spontaneity, and charm of the original drawing.

1. Select Your Piece
Choose from the available handmade ceramic forms — cups, plates, bowls, and selected pieces suitable for illustration.
2. Submit the Drawing
Provide a clear scan or photograph via email, or post the original drawing (returned safely with your finished piece).
4. Hand Transfer Process
Using a copy of the original drawing, the illustration is carefully traced by hand onto the ceramic surface.
Please note: Drawings are reproduced as line work only in black colour. Solid colours, shading, and filled areas are not transferred.
3. Layout Proposal & Approval
A scaled mock-up is prepared to demonstrate how the drawing will be arranged on your chosen ceramic form. Because each drawing differs in size and proportion, adjustments may be made to placement and scale to best complement the piece.
Production begins only after your approval.
5. Creation & Firing
Your commissioned piece is completed and kiln-fired in the studio.
Lead time: 4–5 weeks from approval.
6. Dispatch
Once finished, your piece is carefully packaged and shipped.
